KG Theaters was started with one goal in mind: To finally be able to take care of clients the way we wanted to take care of them; to give them the utmost in service and support without worrying too much about the all mighty dollar. I wanted to allow my clients to engage me in any manner of projects from man caves, custom car libraries, Spin Studios, Majestic Conference Rooms, to Home Theaters to your very own old fashioned arcade. If you can dream the space up I have the ability to design it and dream right along with you and then I have the team in place to put it all together. The Genesis of Our Passion

2013 - Founding Year

Established with a mission to spend more time one on one with our clients and provide the best customer service possible.

2014 - First Control 4 Project

Project on a Large Scale Estate with room to grow.

2015 - CEDIA Membership Acquired

Became a CEDIA member and continued our training. Even being invited to speak at CEDIA on the topic of Large Luxury clients and installations.

2020 - Expansion

Expanded upon and upgrade Kyle’s Award Winning project from 2007 adding Control 4 to replace an aging Crestron system and upgraded the 1.4 Million dollar Theater.

2020 - Control4 Award Winner

Awarded with the Control4 Gold Dealer Award.

2020 - Office Location

Moved out of the Garage to an actual office. Added Installers and expanded our offerings.

204 - Partnered with Lutron and Screen Innovations

Began offering Lutron Homeworks Systems and began our shade offerings from Screen Innovations.

 I have been designing and installing Audio Video and Automation systems in the Austin area for the last 30 years. My career spans three companies. I have maintained many of my clients through all those years and for that I am grateful. I have developed a reputation for attention to detail, careful planning and reliability. If you call me I show up. I answer my phone no matter after hours and on weekend no matter how small the project is I am there for you the client.

Austin first came to KG Theaters in college as our first installer. Austin has now worked in the industry for the last decade and a half and has been trained by the best in the business. His enthusiasm and hard work ethic help drive us all forward. He loves a creative project and specializes in happy clients. He works hard to continue his training and education to better service each KG Theaters Client.

Philip Evans

Philip has worked for more than a few prominent Audio Video installation companies in and around Ausin and Houston Texas. Even sharing time with Kyle at Dyer Electronics. Philip helps us take care of all the little things and the details from cleaning up, to chasing down orders, to labeling Philip has our client’s needs at the top of his mind at all times.
